About Us
Pickwick Boat Shack is owned and operated by Bruce & Tammy Herrington. Tammy is a teacher at Hardin County High School in nearby Savannah. Bruce is employed as an engineer for the local phone company, but is also a boat captain licensed by the United States Coast Guard. Bruce and Tammy are avid boaters and have spent much of the last 7 ½ years cruising Pickwick Lake and the Tennessee River aboard their boat, "Days of Noah".
The Herrington's don't think of the Pickwick Boat Shack as just a way to supplement their income. It is their retirement project. And, with enough customers, it may well be the beginning of another career…
